In Landsort, the day is becoming 4 minutes and 36 seconds shorter. The day has become 2 hours and 7 minutes shorter since the summer solstice. The winter solstice is in 138 days. Landsort is one of the few places where you can see both sun set and sun rise.

Night: Our last chance in the archipelago: The Perseid meteor shower peaks the night of Wednesday, August 12, 2026 into the morning of Thursday, August 13. 25-50 meteors per hour are likely, but up to 100 are to be expected. City of Stockholm too light polluted.

On Wednesdays and Sundays in August and September 2026, mini ferry free of charge to and from Årsta Holmar.
The ferry departs from the pier below Tantolundsvägen at Hornstull Strand every hour on the hour from 09:00–18:00. The crossing takes about 10 minutes.
Boats from Årsta Holmar depart every hour from 09:45–18:45. The boat will make an extra trip outside the regular timetable if not everyone is able to board at the scheduled departure time.
